Autumn knit

Autumn never lasts very long in Iceland: suddenly comes a lot of wind and over a couple of days, all the leaves fall! The colors are nevertheless very breathtaking and inspired me to knit another sweet Gilipeysa. It’s a size 4 knitted with the soft Gilitrutt in Natural white, Salmon orange, Sulfur Yellow and a dash of Moss green.

The sweater was steeked by my students during my lopapeysa/steeking class at Shetland Wool week.

It’s a bit small on my niece but she wanted to be in the pictures too!
