…oh wait, maybe that’s just how we knit our own love story shawl. there is something to be said about lessons in knitting transferring over to the rest of our lives though…

Sizes: one size
Needles: US 3 (3.25mm) 32” (80cm) circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
Yarn: 492 yards (450 metres), 50g of lace weight yarn
Sample shown in Love Story from Hélène Magnússon: pure new wool, 100% Icelandic lambswool, 246 yards/225 metres, 25g/skein: 2 skeins in Hafra beige.
Notions: tapestry needle, 2 stitch markers
Gauge: 24 stitches x 26 rows = 4” (10cm), over garter st, blocked and stretched
Gauge is not essential but may affect the yardage needed.
Techniques: The shawl is worked from the top down in garter st with a delicate lace border..
Kit: the kit contains an Hélène Magnússon project bag and enough wool to complete the shawl. The kit doesn’t include the pattern that must be purchased separately. Shipping costs are not included
