Einrúm L by Kristin Brynja is a design improving Icelandic wool made of lopi and thai silk. Twinned together, the result is an incredibly soft and airy yarn, as light as the unspun Icelandic yarns and as strong as the silk. It comes in an array of earthy colors obtained by mixing natural wool colors with 2 or 4 threads of silk.
Einrúm L is made of Léttlopi from Ístex (100% new wool, aran weight) twinned together with 2 threads (L+2) or 4 threads (L+4) of thai silk. Twinned in the opposite direction, the result stays of a similar weight to the Léttlopi alone, but squishier, stronger and softer thanks to the silk. Einrúm L can thus be used instead of the Léttlopi for a softer touch.

Einrúm L colors are obtained by mixing natural lopi wool colors (natural white, light grey and natural black – which is more like a very deep and dark brown) together with 2 or 4 threads of white, brown, grey or black Thai silk. The difference between some of the shades is quite subtle. Click on the pictures above to see them bigger.
