Sunday was the last day of
Design March and so the last day to see my exhibition of the Icelandic lace dresses of Aðalbjörg Jónsdóttir at the
National Museum of Iceland! I took it down yesterday. The exhibition was a success and I was thrilled that Madame President of Iceland,
Frú Vigdís Finnbogadóttir, came to the opening! During my talk at the
Open Mic, a serie of talks by designers from around the world, I told about the development of my
Love Story Icelandic yarn, and how I developed especially to knit those dresses and how it has been delaying the publishing of the book for many years. If you missed them all, don’t worry, here are some pictures and even a little
film, since it was in the news on TV (
click here and watch for the last minutes)! Enjoy!
