Le paradis des tricoteurs
Knitter’s Paradis
Samedi, j’animais un sympathique atelier de jacquard islandais à Nantes, organisé par Laine-et-tricot, une boutique en ligne française qui vend toutes les belles laines qu’on ne trouvent que dans les boutiques anglaises, américaine et canadiennes… L’atelier était dans les locaux tous neufs de la société et il y avait de quoi vous tourner la tête… Toutes les laines sont en vente sur internet mais environ une fois par mois, il y a des portes ouvertes où vous pouvez venir, toucher, sentir…. et craquer!
Les participantes à l’atelier, leur bonne humeur, leurs madeleines faits maison et le jus de pomme de la région n’ont rendu l’atmosphère que plus agréable.
On Saturday, I had a workshop in Nantes on Icelandic intarsia organized by Laine-et-tricot, an online yarn shop that carries all the most exciting wools. The workshop was in the brand new local and all the yarn is on sale on the internet but every month, it opens for a few days and you can come, touch feel… and buy!
The participants at the workshop were great, we had home made cakes and local apple juice.
