I’m moving again! – in the House of Icelandic Design, Food, Art & Music
Je déménage encore!
This week-end, I’ve been moving again! Not countries or houses but my workspace. I left my spacious, clean, bright (so much sun I could barely see my computer’s screen and had terrible headaches all summer) and calm (a house full of ghost artists?) workspace for a tiny designer studio in the House of Icelandic Design, Food, Art & Music in the Harbor. Fishing nets used to be produced in the building but it is now housing a restaurant, Forrétta Barinn, the Netagerdin designer work shop and SIM (Association of Icelandic Visual Artists) designer and artists studios. My studio is very little, a bit shabby but it has a view! And I met more people there in two days than in months at the other place! I’ll show you pictures and introduce you to the people in the house all along the year.
Ce week-end, j’ai encore déménagé! Pas de pays ou de maisons, mais d’atelier. J’ai quitté mon atelier spacieux, clair (tellement ensoleillé que je ne voyais pas mon écran d’ordinateur et ai eu des maux de tête tout l’été) et calme (remplis d’artistes fantômes?) pour un minuscule atelier dans la Maison de Icelandic Design, Food, Art & Music sur le port. On y produisait autrefois des filets de pêche mais le bâtiment abrite aujourd’hui un restaurant Forrétta Barinn, la boutique atelier Netagerdin et des studios d’artistes et de designers de SIM (Association des Artistes Visuels islandais). Mon studio est tout petit, un peu “cradouille” mais il a une vue! Et j’ai rencontré plus de gens en 2 jours qu’en plusieurs mois à l’autre endroit! Je vous montrerai des photos et vous présenterai les gens dans la maison tout du long de l’année.
