One size fits all, really? The secret lays in the special ribbing: a variation of vertical lines of knit and purl over 12 stitches that make the fabric unusually elastic and adapt to its wearer. All sorts of socks and mittens with this type of ribbing can be found in the museums in Iceland. They were the inspiration for the one size fits all Katlastroff socks from my book Socks of Iceland, and now this wonderful hat.
That said, I do provide you with 3 sizes, S(M,L), the size M being the “magical one”.
Sizes: S(M,L) Size M will fit most heads but choose a Size S for babies and a size L for really big heads.
Only the length is adjustable.
You can also obtain more sizes by adding or withdrawing motif repeats.
